The catalogue was realized on the occasion of Franco Vimercati’s exhibition at La Galleria Nazionale (7th June – 10th September 2023), titled ‘The World in a Grain of Sand,’ curated by Susan Bright. Conceived in collaboration with the Archivio Franco Vimercati and Galleria Raffaella Cortese, the exhibition project and this volume –  published by Tlon Editions (September 2023), with essays by Doris von Drathen, Saretto Cincinelli, an introduction by Cristiana Collu, and a foreword by Susan Bright – have allowed for a unique interpretation of Franco Vimercati’s work, one of the most significant photographic artists of his generation, the creator of a unique visual language with great aesthetic and conceptual value.
