Artissima returns to Lingotto Fiere.

To celebrate ten years of activity the fair organises the “Party Artissima” in the Cortile del Maglio on 7 November 2003.

For the first time the galleries include entries from Argentina and Slovenia.

Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT provides an acquisition fund to support young artists, by purchasing works for GAM and Castello di Rivoli: the three works are by Grazia Toderi, Paola Pivi and Massimo Bartolini.

Among the special initiatives of ARTissima 10, “Uno sguardo sull’Africa” offers an itinerary to discover contemporary African artists, represented by 13 galleries participating in the fair, and coordinated with the exhibition “Africa. Capolavori da un continente” in progress at GAM.

Curiosity: advertising mannequins were placed in strategic locations at the Torino-Caselle airport.
