For the second consecutive year, Artissima presents Artissima XYZ, the digital hub of the curated sections of the fair, which from 4 to 9 November will guide your curiosity through the exhibits of Present Future, Back to the Future and Disegni, for an immersive online experience not to be missed.
With the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Artissima XYZ is an interactive cross-media platform created to enable viewers to delve into the creative genesis of 30 projects selected by our curatorial board, in a 360° panorama.
The coordinates of this multimedia voyage are first of all the works of the 30 artists involved (10 for each section), but also various photographic and video contents, recommended itineraries, interviews and critical contributions. All the in-depth materials have been produced by the artists, gallerists and curators, in collaboration with the editorial team of Ordet.
Let yourself be drawn into Back to the Future, curated by Lorenzo Giusti and Mouna Mekouar, oriented this year towards the dimension of the present as dilated time; wander through Present Future, the section on emerging talents under 40, selected by Ilaria Gianni and Fernanda Brenner, with a focus on the theme of mystery; and get a close look at the gestures wavering between the idea and the finished work, in the Disegni seection curated by Bettina Steinbrügge and Lilou Vidal, who for 2021 have conducted research on works filled with humour and a sense of the grotesque.
Beginning tomorrow, 5 November, until 7 November, Artissima XYZ also awaits you at the OVAL in Torino, with three group shows for the three curated sections.
