ARTISSIMA PRIZES: 4 November

4 November 2022 Awarding

Peng Zuqiang is the winner of the twenty-second edition of the illy Present Future Prize, supported by illycaffè since 2001 and assigned to the most interesting project in Present Future, the section of Artissima devoted to emerging talents.

The artist is presented by Antenna Space gallery, Shanghai.

The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Tominga O’Donnell, senior curator of Contemporary Art at MUNCH in Oslo, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, president of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin, Fabian Schöneich, founding director of CCA Berlin – Center for Contemporary Arts in Berlin, and Moritz Wesseler, director of the Fridericianum in Kassel.

Nohemí Pérez is the winner of the third edition of the FPT for Sustainable Art Award, promoted by FPT Industrial with the aim of generating a meeting between sustainability, innovation and art.

The artist is presented by the mor charpentier, Paris and Bogotà.

The FPT for Sustainable Art Award has been assigned by an international jury composed of Hélène Guenin, director of MAMAC Nice in Nice, Markus Reymann, director of TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary in Vienna and Gian Maria Tosatti, artist.

Teresa Giannico wins the second edition of the VANNI occhiali #artistroom Prize, launched by the brand VANNI and awarded to the artist whose artistic research can offer an original look at reality, opening, as a lens would, an unexpected and surprising horizon.

The artist is presented by the Viasaterna, Milan.

The prize has been awarded by an international jury composed of Bruno Barsanti, director of the Elpis Foundation in Milan, Marco Enrico Giacomelli, philosopher and journalist, and Letizia Schätzinger, journalist.

Kate Newby is the winner of the thirteenth edition of the Ettore e Ines Fico Prize promoted by MEF Museo Ettore Fico of Turin and aimed at supporting and enhancing the work of young artists through an acquisition. Among the artists presented at the fair, the winner has been chosen thanks to her international research and poetics.

The artist is presented by the Art : Concept, Paris.

The artist has been awarded by an international jury composed of Renato Alpegiani, collector Andrea Busto, president and director of the MEF Museo Ettore Fico in Turin, and Valerie Da Costa, art historian and critic and curator in Paris.
