November in Turin: time for Artissima! Tomorrow the 29th iteration of Italy’s most contemporary art fair opens its doors, welcoming visitors with a remarkable calendar of appointments, events and initiatives, with the arrival of a new, indispensable platform: Artissima Voice Over!
Today the virtual voyage of Artissima Voice Over begins, an engaging cross-media space on the 3 curated sections of Artissima – back inside the fair this year – offering a full 360° immersion in art with images, videos, podcasts and interviews. You will be guided straight to the crux of Present Future, Back to the Future and Disegni, for an online experience not to be missed – at voiceover.artissima.art!
Supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Artissima Voice Over is an interactive platform created to provide an in-depth look at the creative genesis of 35 projects selected by our curatorial board. The central focus of Artissima Voice Over is represented by the works of 35 selected artists, but viewers can also enjoy numerous contents of photographs and videos, recommended itineraries, interviews and critical commentary. All the coverage has been made by the artists, gallerists and curators involved, and by the editorial team of Treti Galaxie.
Your curiosity will be stimulated by Back to the Future, curated by Anna Gritz and Balthazar Lovay, focusing this year on radical starting points from the past, with the aim of investigating the limits of a work of art; get lost in Present Future, devoted to rising talents selected by Saim Demircan and Maurin Dietrich, whose practices often diverge in terms of medium and style; or get a closer look at the expressive power and variety of the Disegni section curated by Irina Zucca, now at its 6th edition.
Starting tomorrow, 4 November, the curated sections of Artissima await you at the OVAL in Turin!
