This year Artissima launches #ArtissimaLive, a new-media area dedicated exclusively to online magazines, bloggers and websites involved in contemporary art.
The first of its kind for an art fair, the project aims to give visibility and attention to web platforms that are exhibit constant growth and expansion. Conciseness, speed and connectivity typify the web platforms invited to share a different way of discussing, presenting and understanding contemporary art with real and virtual visitors alike.
#ArtissimaLive is thought of as a fully fledged editing room, where various publications dialogue and collaborate to create live content during the weekend of the fair. Conceived as a ‘workstation’, this area of the fair dedicated to new media is also used for interviews with gallery directors and curators involved in the various Artissima projects as well as for video screenings.
This new section of Artissima is coordinated by Elena Bordignon, founder of ATPdiary.
