Aperçues is the key word in the title of the publication to which the meeting is dedicated, an artist’s project conceived by Nina Carini,  exponent of the young Italian artistic generation. Based on the homonymous book by Georges Didi-Huberman, Aperçues opens up to the dimension of glimpsed images, to what appears and quickly disappears, leaving traces and fragments of emotions and thoughts. The catalogue documents Nina Carini’s recent solo exhibition at the basilica of San Celso in Milan: starting with sculptural, sound and environmental installations created in dialogue with the place and its architecture, it extends to an archive of works dating from 2017 to 2023. The result of study and reflection, Carini’s works are open and permeable forms that transcend the specificity of media, employing word and sound. Together with the artist, speakers will be the curators Angela Madesani and Rischa Paterlini and the philosopher Davide Dal Sasso, authors of the essays and conversation published within the pages of the volume published by Allemandi.
