Published on the occasion of a solo exhibition at the GAM in Turin, the book collects some of Michele Tocca’s most relevant paintings. Alongside a critical essay by the curator, Elena Volpato, there are four short writings that Tocca himself has dedicated to some nineteenth-century artists, whose works are part of the museum’s collections, and who devoted themselves, like Tocca, to landscape painting en plein air. Alberto Mugnaini, a painting expert, will converse with the two authors. Winning project of the PAC2021, promoted by DGCC, Italian Ministry of Culture. Book Design Chiara Costa.
