As many as 207 galleries from 31 countries found their special place within the beautiful venue that is the Oval, built for the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin. The occasion? Artissima, one of Europe’s biggest art fairs, coming back this year for its 22nd edition. With the richest and most extensive program to date, the fair continues its dedicated journey under the guidance of Sarah Cosulich, who is curating Artissima for the fourth time this year. Divided into two sections, the exhibitors will look to present the very best among the emerging and established contemporary artists and artworks. A total of 133 most prominent international galleries will present in the Main Section, while 24 of the most interesting young spaces will gather at the New Entries section. Isabella Bortolozzi
Based in Berlin and London, Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi is bringing eleven of its represented artists to Artissima, among them Oscar Murillo, Calla Henkel & Max Pitegoff and Richard Rezac, who just had a solo show at the space in Berlin. The gallery was founded in 2004, and aims to showcase the hottest young talent in the city of Berlin, as well as the more prominent ones. Its director Isabella Bortolozzi is also part of the Artissima committees for the Main Section, New Entries and Art Editions.

Bugada&Cargnel
Bugada&Cargnel was founded by Claudia Cargnel and Frédéric Bugada back in 2002, and has since become one of the most significant galleries in Paris. With an impressive showcase of French and international names, the gallery is located in an old industrial building, which gives their exhibitions a special kind of flare. For Artissima, Bugada & Cargnel will present six artists, including Alfredo Aceto, Graham Collins and Claire Tabouret.

Peter Kilchmann
Coming from Zurich, Switzerland is Galerie Peter Kilchmann, which will present the works by seven talents, such as Raffi Kalenderian (soon on view at their space), Teresa Margolles, Tobias Kaspar. It is located in Zurich’s art hub Kreis 5, where it managed to establish its position on the local and international art scene since its foundation in 1992. The gallery also participated at this year’s Frieze in London and will join Art Basel in Miami Beach in December.
